The Play is A Hallstrom Home School Workshop Drama Production. Cost is $6 for Adults, $4 for Students and Seniors and $20 per family. Tickets are available at the door.
About the production:
Justice and Mercy, both recent college grads who can’t find jobs, are forced to return to their Wisconsin hometown and live with their parents because of their college debt. Each believing their way to finding gainful employment superior to the other, they make a bet. The first one to get a permanent full time paying job wins a free seven day all expenses paid vacation to Iceland donated by a mutual friend. Armed with their youth and idealistic mindsets, Justice and Mercy soon find the real world requires more than just mouthing platitudes and having brilliant ideas when they both get involved in their local communities Centennial Celebration, the Waupaca’s Wacky Wonderful One Hundred Year Wingding. From the colorful locals who want a say in the ceremonies, to the city council who struggle to get along with each other, to the high school students who just want to have real fun for a change, each day brings new opportunities, challenges, and unexpected outcomes. And each day brings you closer to finding out who will win, Justice or Mercy?
