Self Defense for Women & Girls
Sep 27, 2012 - Nov 1, 2012 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Womanspace Library and Anjali Pavilion
This class will help develop awareness and confidence by teaching easy techniques you can use to defend yourself in times of distress. The skills you learn can help protect against bullies, abductions, and others who may want to harm you. Now is a great time to learn or review your skills, and the final class is a simulation of abduction scenarios with a police officer in protective gear. Self defense is great for empowerment and lots of fun too! Limited scholarships are available.
Regular Fee: $75 Members' Fee $60. For ages 9 and up. Great for Moms & Daughters.
