Bow Tie March and 5K Run

Please join us on Saturday, June 11 at Home Depot for this year's Bow Tie March and 5K Run event! The Bow Tie Event was developed by Healing Pathways Cancer Resource Center to honor men who have been touched by cancer. The event includes a 1.5 mile symbolic March, optional 5K Run, great food, live music, wellness fair, survivors'/VIP tent, children's activities, chances to win prizes and more!

2016 Bow Tie March

This sixth year event, scheduled for June 11, was developed by Healing Pathways Cancer Resource Center to celebrate and honor men who have been touched by cancer. The Bow Tie March & 5K Run for Men’s Cancer Awareness is a one of a kind event to raise awareness of men’s cancer while raising funds to support the programs and services provided by Healing Pathways.

The 2016 Bow Tie March Event will include a 1.5 mile symbolic march along the Perryville Path as well as an optional 5K Run. This year's 5K is a Road Runners' Circuit Race. The event begins and ends at Home Depot/Rockford and includes live music, children's activities, delicious food, a wellness fair, and Survivors' & VIP Tent for all registered participants. All marchers/runners will also receive an event t-shirt. On-line registration is available by going to the Events page at www.healingpathwayscrc.org.

Net proceeds benefit cancer-related services, education and support programs at Healing Pathways Cancer Resource Center. All services are provided at no charge to survivors, and caregivers.

RAMP River Run

Trolley Station at Riverview Park, 324 N Madison Street in downtown Rockford, IL
What better way to kick off your Labor Day weekend than getting out for some family-friendly competition (for those who want to be competitive) in downtown Rockford. RAMP and OrthoIllinois are partnering to offer the 4th event – 3K Walk/Wheel, 5K Run, ½ Marathon, and a Kids’ Fun Run! The four events take place in the morning on Saturday, September 3rd. Proceeds benefit RAMP, a local non-profit providing services and advocacy that assists individuals with disabilities to live as independently as possible.

Registration begins one hour prior to the start of each event at the Trolley Station at Riverview Park, 324 N Madison Street in downtown Rockford, IL.
