BUS TRIP TO BISHOP HILL, ILLINOIS

Leaving from Midway Village Museum, we will travel to Bishop Hill and take a step on guided tour of the village established by Swedish immigrants in 1846 and have lunch at P.L. Johnson's. There will be time for shopping and visiting art galleries before returning to Rockford. The cost of the trip is $65.00 with a $25.00 deposit to hold your seat!

STEM Café is coming to Rockford! Northern Illinios University’s STEM Outreach presents the first of several STEM Cafés planned for Rockford. Adults are invited to eat, drink, and discuss the latest research and breakthroughs in science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun, casual environment.
This Month's Topic: Advancements in 3D printing are making it possible for researchers and average folks to print everything from car parts to body parts. How does additive manufacturing actually work and how is it changing our lives? Find out at the April STEM Café. This month's speakers are Dr. Federico Sciammarella, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at NIU, and Dan Cataldi, Executive Director of EIGERlab.
