CHIP teaches people how to make better lifestyle choices to slow down, stop, and reverse chronic diseases including high cholesterol, high blood pressure, type II diabetes, and overweight. Also maintain your health learning CHIP principals.

First Steps Support Group for the Newly Bereaved

A death of a loved one may create strong emotions and challenges with “finding one’s footing.” First Steps is a safe place for grieving individuals who have experienced a loss within the past four months. Family support groups are for family members, caregivers who have an adult living with a mental illness. Free to participants.

The hallmark of a NAMI support group is leveraging the collective knowledge and experience of the other participants.
Facilitated by a trained team of family members of individuals living with mental illness. Confidential, you can share as much or as little personal information as you want.

This group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at Swedish American Hospital, Lower Level Conference Room 2-3, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Use heart hospital entrance.
