CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Winnebago County invites you to their 22nd annual Dinner & Auction Friday, April 29, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Each year the event is held to raise awareness of children in our County who have suffered horrific sexual, physical, or emotional abuse. Funding to recruit advocates to be the voices for these children in Juvenile Abuse & Neglect Court is an absolute necessity. A social hour, silent & Chinese auctions will begin at 6:00 pm.

A live auction & raffle will follow dinner. Raffle tickets are available online or by calling the CASA office. Ticket price for the dinner & auction is $60 per person. Call 815-319-6880, email, or check our website, for additional information.

2016 Spring Author Fair

Tables are about five feet long. Refreshments will be offered throughout the day, and Jill Austin from Barefoot Editing in Minnesota will be speaking at 1 p.m. on, “Common Mistakes Authors Make When Self-Publishing. “ Authors are requested to keep their tables open until 2 p.m.

Tinker's Victorian Murder Mystery

The first house in town to have electricity, all of Rockford's elite are in attendance. Known for her flair for over-the-top events, everyone has decided to attend, either out of respect for the hostess, curiosity of electricity, or for the chance to socialize with the upper echelon of Rockford society.
Unfortunately for the happy party goers, no one knows that there is a killer in their midst who plans to strike tonight! All who attend are participants in the Murder Mystery. Dinner is not provided, however light refreshments will be served after the game is complete.
Cost is $25 per person, $20 per Tinker member*
