Stockton Independence Day Celebration

Each year, the festivities and fireworks display are scheduled for July 4th, with this year’s fireworks rain date being set for Saturday, July 6th.

The celebration begins in the park at 9am with returning events that include: Stockton Lion’s Famous BBQ Chicken Dinner, Northwest Illinois Car Show, 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, Pearl City Lions Club Mobile Bingo, Stockton FFA Kiddie Tractor Pull, Baseball Tournament, Beer Tent , Presentation of Color’s by the American Legion, and over 50 arts, crafts and food booths.

This year's live stage entertainment will host bands Ten Gallon Hat (1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Free Fall (6 p.m. - 9p.m.)

Several new events are scheduled for the 2013 celebration, including a children’s bounce house, a dunk tank and a live auction (5pm).
