Word of Art Exhibition and Book Release Reception

Celebration Room of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 920 Third Avenue, Rockford, IL
Word of Art is an exceptional collaboration of authors and artists from Illinois and Wisconsin. Over fifty authors submitted more than one hundred stories, essays, and poems. Artists then selected thirty of those submissions to create an inspired canvas using the medium of their choice. The words and artwork will be published in a beautiful hard cover, full color book.

Lovers of art and the written word, as well as the general public, are invited to come to the reception to meet the authors and artists, see their original work on display, listen while authors read their words, and purchase a book for your library ($15 for In Print members/$20 for nonmembers). Attendees will also have an opportunity to vote on the Best in Show for word/artwork collaboration. Appetizers, desserts, coffee, water, and lemonade will be served.

For more information regarding the Word of Art book or reception, please contact Mary Lamphere at WordofArt@inprintwriters.com.
