Conveyor Live Storytelling: Christmas Show and Tell

317 W. Jefferson Rockford, IL
Holidays, are linked indelibly to memories. These memories can be looked with great joy or sorrow or something in between. It’s funny how sometimes these memories can be linked to objects. For this month’s storytelling event we are giving you opportunity to share these objects and stories. Friday, December 26th 2014 Conveyor (317 W Jefferson) will be hosting Conveyor Live Storytelling. Conveyor Live Storytelling is a live storytelling night, where people tell 8-10 minute true stories relating to a theme based on the object they bring. Anyone and everyone is welcome to sign up to tell a story. This month’s theme is Christmas Show and Tell. Even though it says Christmas in the title that stories of all holiday traditions are welcome. The storyteller with Story of the Night will receive a gift to Olympic Tavern. As an added bonus will also have an ugly sweater contest.
The host of this event will be C.J. Campbell, The Director of Storytelling at Conveyor. The doors open at 7:45pm. Admission will be $5 Contact us through Facebook or send an email to C.J. at with any questions Conveyor is home for story. Conveyor acts as a safehouse for stories to be told, heard, and archived. We’re doing something different by introducing the world’s oldest art form, storytelling, to Rockford.
Please follow us on Facebook at to stay updated and visit to watch the stories told from the previous nights.
