Kable Concert Band concert

Beautiful campus on Wesley Avenue in downtown Mt. Morris
The worries of the week disappear when you relax and listen to the Kable Concert Band for free. There are home made desserts, ice cream, and coffee or lemonade available for purchase from a different civic service group each week. Recharge every week with a simple piece of Americana in Mt. Morris. The Kable Concert Band concert every Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock through July 30 – rain or shine. Come early for the ice cream social!

Summer Camp at Burpee: Critter Club

Here's a wonderful opportunity to meet and learn about the Museum's live animals as you spend the afternoon feeding and caring for them. The animals include an assortment of reptiles, a tarantula, a salamander, hissing cockroaches, and fish.

Pre-registration and pre-payment required. Fee per session is $12 members, $15 non-members. Classes are on Wednesdays from 1- 3 pm. Call (815) 965-3433 x1002 to register! Ages 9 and up.

Summer Camp at Burpee: Books and Beasties

Join us as we learn about some really cool "beasties" from Burpee's collection. We'll read stories, learn rhymes, play game, and make a fun take home project. All sessions include a full-sized mounted specimen of the featured animal- and sometimes a live version too!
