A new Illinois law is aimed at curbing gun violence among youth. The measure was signed into law today. It lays out stiffer sentences, and holds adults equally responsible for crimes. If they sold or gave a gun to a minor, that means that adult would be charged with murder. If that's the crime a minor committed. Previously, adults who provided guns to minors faced a maxiumum of seven years behind bars.
