Woodruff, Dozier among Peabody winners

ATLANTA (AP) -- Two war-wounded TV journalists with stories about wounded Iraq veterans are among the 35 recipients of the Peabody Awards.

One Peabody went "Wounds of War -- The Long Road Home for Our Nation's Veterans," which was a series of reports by ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff.

A Peabody also went to "CBS News Sunday Morning: The Way Home" for Kimberly Dozier's (DOH'-zhurz) piece about two women veterans who lost limbs in Iraq.

Dozier and Woodruff survived near-fatal attacks while on assignment in Iraq.

Another CBS News series, "60 Minutes," won a Peabody for Scott Pelley's report, "The Killings in Haditha."

Discovery's "Planet Earth," Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report," the NBC show "30 Rock" and Bravo's "Project Runway" are among other winners.
