It may be a pretty picture, looking at snow through the window at home ...however area Police say it's not so nice to look at it from inside your car as driving becomes more and more dangerous.

Before you think about heading out tonight consider this.Rockford police tell us their have already been 20 accidents in the area.Right now both Rockford and Machesney Park are operating in emergency response mode..That means they will not respond to accidents that do not require medical assistance. In fact, if you plan on heading outside tonight, Area police hope its only to shovel.
