Name: Adam Behrman
Title: Weekend Meteorologist |

|
Adam Behrman joined the 23 News team as the weekend Meteorologist and reporter in January 2008. Although he specializes in the weather, he also strives to bring you interesting and accurate news on the weekdays as a reporter. Adam is very excited to live in the Stateline because of its close proximity to Chicago, Madison, and some of the finest state parks in the Midwest.
Adam was born and raised in Wauseon, Ohio, a small town halfway between Fort Wayne and Toledo. Upon graduating from high school he headed down to The Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!) to pursue a career with the National Weather Service. However, an internship with Chief Meteorologist Robert Shiels at WTOL in Toledo inspired him to find a job in TV.
After getting his degree in Atmospheric Sciences, Adam fulfilled a dream to live in the great American West by accepting a job at K2TV in Casper, Wyoming as the morning meteorologist. Adam took full advantage of his two years there. In the winter he went skiing and in the spring, summer, and fall he went camping. By the time he moved away he had visited every county in the state as well as every state that borders Wyoming. If you couldn't tell, he is really big into the outdoors.
As much as he loves the West, he really is glad to be back in the Midwest. There are few places on earth that have more volatile weather. He really enjoys living in a big city again, (Rockford is three times bigger than the largest city in Wyoming). You can catch Adam's news stories during the work week and his forecasts on the 23 News Update at 6 onSaturdays and on the 23 News Update at 10 on Saturdays and Sundays.
