Kendra is from Sublette, Illinois, home of the famous Sublette Farm Toy Show. She is a graduate of Northern Illinois University where she earned her bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism.
She began her career working for WSDR Radio in Sterling and fell in love with it right away. While attending NIU, she found television to be the best fit for her. Kendra always felt a strong connection with Rockford, so she knew exactly where she wanted to work and wouldn't settle for any other city. Her family and friends are top priority, so her plans are to stay right here in Rockford. Kendra is honored to work for WIFR and her long biggest goal is to make a positive difference in this great city.
When Kendra is not working she loves to eat, a lot. Also dancing and karaoke are big activities for Kendra. Her favorite food is a cheese pretzel or anything with the word cheese in it.

Gray currently operates 36 television stations serving 30 markets. Each of the stations are affiliated with either CBS (17 stations), NBC (10 stations), ABC (8 stations) or FOX (1 station). In addition, Gray currently operates 36 digital second channels including 1 ABC, 5 Fox, 7 CW and 15 MyNetworkTV affiliates plus 6 local news/weather channels and 2 “independent” channels in certain of its existing markets.
