23 News weathercaster Aaron Wilson is a hometown boy who plans on spending the rest of his working days in the Rockford area. Aaron has been forecasting weather since 1997 during his senior year of Rockford College. In 1998 Mr. Wilson graduated RC with a B.S. degree in Education. Severe weather coverage is Aaron's number one priority. You can always count on Aaron to be first with breaking weather information during 23 News This Morning. Aaron can also be seen live and on location during: blizzards, severe thunderstorms and floods. He'll bring you live storm data with the 23 Storm Team Mobile Lab. As a Rockford native Aaron gives back to his community by being involved in a host of fundraisers. With a degree in Education you can always count on Aaron to visit your school classroom with interesting weather information. Sometimes Aaron can be found substitute teaching for local school districts. Feel free to invite Aaron out to your classroom or school function. Aaron and his golden retriever Chase currently live just north of Rockford. He enjoys a round of golf, boating, riding wave-runners and playing fetch with Chase. Friends are important to Aaron too. He still has friends from his Rockford Public School Years. Each of the stations are affiliated with either CBS (17 stations), NBC (10 stations), ABC (8 stations) or FOX (1 station). In addition, Gray currently operates 36 digital second channels including 1 ABC, 5 Fox, 7 CW and 15 MyNetworkTV affiliates plus 6 local news/weather channels and 2 “independent” channels in certain of its existing markets. Gray intends to start an additional 4 digital second channels during 2007 including 1 CW affiliate, 1 MyNetworkTV affiliate and 2 local news/weather channels.
