Rockford Lacrosse Club To Host Free Clinic

Rockford Lax Lacrosse – High School Lacrosse Club
The newly formed Rockford Lax High School Lacrosse Club will be hosting a free lacrosse clinic
Saturday, August 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The clinic will be held at the
Rockford Park District field adjacent to the Carlson Ice Arena at 4150 N. Perryville Road in Loves
Park. The clinic will be run by True Lacrosse from Chicago, headed up by professional lacrosse
players Jake Deane and Mike Gable.

Lacrosse is the fasting growing sport in America and Rockford Lax is looking to bring lacrosse to
the Rockford Area. There are currently over 80 high school teams in Illinois. We are seeking new
and experienced players to compete in the high school NILax league this fall and next spring.
Athletes in grades 9-12 from all area high schools are welcome. No equipment is necessary to
attend the clinic, but athletic attire is required.

Former players and coaches interested in assisting with the team are encouraged to attend.
