DEKALB, Ill. (AP) -- Tyler Oakley scored three touchdowns, two coming off of fumble returns, leading Lena-Winslow to a 28-21 victory Friday over Downs Tri-Valley in the Illinois Class 1A state championship.

Oakley also gained 83 yards on 25 carries for Lena-Winslow (11-3), which jumped to a 14-7 first-quarter lead -- both scores coming on Oakley fumble returns of 60 and 65 yards -- but had to rally from a 21-14 halftime deficit to beat Tri-Valley (13-1).

Lena-Winslow scored twice in the third quarter, taking the lead for good on a 2-yard Oakley TD-run followed by a two-point conversion.

Tri-Valley's final possession ended with Oakley's interception with 23 seconds left.

Caleb Wilson led the Vikings with 150 rushing yards on 20 carries, and he scored twice.
