CHICAGO (AP) -- David DeJesus homered twice, Justin Germano cruised through six innings and the Chicago Cubs beat the Houston Astros 7-2 on Wednesday.
DeJesus, who tied a career best with four hits, homered in the third and fourth innings and reached base five times.
Starlin Castro hit a two-run homer among his three hits for Chicago.
Germano (2-2) allowed two runs over 6 1-3 innings. He struck out six and walked one.
Bud Norris (5-10) failed to win for the 13th consecutive start. He gave up six runs over 3 1-3 innings. He exited early after being hit in the foot with a line drive and was diagnosed with a left foot contusion.
Scott Moore homered and Jose Altuve had three hits four Houston.
