The Byron Dragway put on spectacle this afternoon for Summer Thunder. We had an oil spill early so in the meantime they had a motorcycle stunt show that was just awesome.
Following that...Richard Hutchins the wheelie king blasted off in his 1970s modified VW and nearly did a wheelie down the entire strip.
Summer Thunder also featured two jet engine dragsters. One had a little trouble off the line but the other blazed the quarter mile at 287 miles an hour.
