BOURBONNAIS, Ill. (AP) -- Quarterback Jay Cutler and wide receiver Brandon Marshall are almost inseparable at Chicago Bears training camp trying to recapture the close connection they had in Denver back in 2008.
Marshall describes the friendship off the field as critical to the on-field work, and terms it both "fireworks or fiery."
The Bears have had very few quarterback-receiver connections that ranked high statistically. The Cutler-Marshal duo are overseen by quarterbacks coach Jeremy Bates, who coached the two in Denver.
The Bears face Denver on Thursday at Soldier Field.
