HOUSTON (AP) -- Center Omer Asik is on his way to the Houston Rockets.
A person with direct knowledge of the decision says the Chicago Bulls will not match Houston's three-year, $25 million offer sheet on Asik. The person spoke on condition of anonymity Tuesday because Chicago had not officially announced the move.
The 7-foot Asik joins Jeremy Lin on the revamped Rockets' roster. Lin was introduced in Houston last week after New York decided not to match the Rockets' three-year, $25 million offer sheet for him.
Asik averaged 3.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and one block in 66 games last season.
