Veasley To Play In Japan
Butler graduate and Freeport native Willie Veasley said he will head to Japan to play in the pro league there.

Freeport native Willie Veasley signed a year deal to play overseas in Japan. He will report to camp on the 22nd of August. Veasley, Freeport high school's all-time leading scorer, was a major part of Butler's cinderalla tournament run which ended with a NCAA title game loss to Duke. He finished his career as the Bulldogs all time winningest player.
