Braun, Fielder Homer in Ninth as Brewers Rally Past Astros 7-4

Ryan Braun hit a three-run homer and Prince Fielder followed with a solo shot as the Milwaukee Brewers rallied in the ninth to defeat Houston 7-4 tonight.

Scott Linebrink got the win, improving to 4-3. He pitched the eighth inning for the Brewers, who won their second straight over Houston. Francisco Cordero pitched the ninth for his 36th save in 42 chances.

Astros closer Brad Lidge falls to 3-2. He gave up four runs on four hits in blowing his fifth save in 12 opportunities.

Former Brewer Carlos Lee had a pair of doubles and two RBIs for the Astros.

Jeff Suppan started for Milwaukee. He went 5-plus innings and allowed four runs and nine hits. He walked three and struck out seven.

He hasn't won since June 22nd against Kansas City. Since then he has three losses and six no-decisions.
