Brown Thinks Anderson Will Keep Starting Spot at Defensive End

Five days into practices, Brown sounded like a political candidate offering up a concession speech. Today, he said it has become apparent Mark Anderson will keep the right defensive end spot even though coaches have said nothing is decided.

Brown says he believes his only chance to start is by beating out left defensive end Adewale Ogunleye.

Brown has started 64 straight games at right defensive end and finds himself at a disadvantage because he hasn't played the left side since being drafted in 2002.
