Zambrano, Cubs Shut Out Reds

Carlos Zambrano became the majors' first 14-game winner allowing two hits over seven and a-third scoreless innings as the Chicago Cubs blanked Cincinnati 6-0.

Derrek Lee hit a two-run homer and Angel Pagan added a two-run single for the Cubs, who began the day trailing first-place Milwaukee by one and a-half games in the NL Central.

Relievers Will Ohman and Bob Howry finished the combined three-hitter.

Zambrano is 14-7, while losing pitcher Matt Belisle dropped to 5-8.
