White Sox Recall Infielder Richar

The White Sox have recalled infielder Danny Richar from Triple-A Charlotte today.

Richar will make his big league debut at second base against the Blue Jays.

He fills the roster spot vacated by second baseman Tadahito Iguchi. He was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies yesterday for minor league pitcher Michael Dubee.

The 24-year-old Richar started the season as a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. He hit .305 with 13 home runs and 61 R-B-I's between Triple-A Tucson and Charlotte this season.

He was traded from the Diamondbacks on June 16 for outfielder Aaron Cunningham.
