Scott Podsednik has been activated from the 15-day disabled list, and the Chicago White Sox today put outfielder Luis Terrero on the DL with a strained left groin.
Podsednik has been on the disabled list since July Third with a strained left ribcage muscle he got during a first-inning at-bat on July First at Kansas City. He'd been on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte.
Podsednik also was on the DL from April 17th through June 22nd with a strained right adductor. He's played only 19 games this season, batting .269.
He was back in Chicago's lineup today in left field, batting seventh against the Detroit Tigers in the first game of a day-night doubleheader.
