Sky Win in OT

Dominique Canty's jumper with 6 seconds left in overtime lifted the Chicago Sky to an 84-82 victory over the San Antonio Silver Stars tonight.

Jia Perkins scored 27 points. She is averaging 21-4 the last five games, to lead the Sky to their second straight win after a five-game losing streak.

Canty finished with 13 points, Armintie Price had 12 and Chasity Melvin added 10 as Chicago swept the two-game season series from the Silver Stars and pulled to one-half game behind New York for fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

Sophia Young scored 25 points and Becky Hammon added 20 for San Antonio, which snapped a six-game winning streak and lost for just the third time in 13 games. The Silver Stars had their lead over second-place Sacramento in the West cut to two games.
