White Sox Can't Keep Up with Red Sox

Manny Ramirez and Mike Lowell accounted for seven runs as Boston outscored the Chicago White Sox 8-5.

Ramirez opened the scoring with a three-run blast in the first inning. He added an RBI single while the Red Sox were building an 8-1 lead.

Lowell smacked a three-run shot for the Bosox, who won the last three games of the series by outscoring the White Sox 29-10.

Tim Wakefield is 11-9 after giving up four runs and six hits in six and a-third. Wakefield allowed just one run and three hits over the first six frames.

Jon Garland surrendered six runs and six hits in four and two-thirds to snap his three-game road winning streak. He's 7-7 this season.

Josh Fields had two RBIs and Jermaine Dye doubled twice for the White Sox.
