Mark Buehrle beat Cleveland for the first time in more than two years and hot-hitting Paul Konerko belted a two-run homer to lead the Chicago White Sox 5-1 win over the Indians.
Buehrle, who improves to 7-5, had been winless in his previous eight start against the Indians.
Konerko belted his 20th homer of the year in the fourth inning off Cleveland starter Jake Westbrook, who drops to 1-5.
Konerko is batting .320 with 13 doubles, 13 homers, 28 walks and 31 RBIs since June first.
The White Sox took two of three from the Indians, who had been 10-and-0 in the finale of three-game series at home this season.
Chicago, which is way out of the playoff picture and playing mostly for pride, improved to 3-4 on a season-long, 11-game road trip that will resume tomorrow in Boston.
