Floyd Leaves Game after Hurting Shoulder

Cubs right fielder Cliff Floyd came out of today's game against the Houston Astros after diving for a ball and straining his left shoulder in the first inning.

Floyd tried for a shoestring catch of leadoff batter Chris Burke's blooper down the right-field line but missed and landed on his shoulder as the ball rolled behind him for a triple.

Mark DeRosa moved from second base to right field in the top of the second and Mike Fontenot came in to play at second, taking Floyd's Number Five spot in the batting order.
