Racing teams are always looking for a way to keep their car performing at the highest level. However crews often step over that line. And somebody has got to do something about it. That guy is Nextel Cup Series Director John Darby.
The former Rockford Speedway Series Owner was in Rockford last night enjoying his little time off before Sunday's big race in Joliet. Lately darby's been dealing with suspended crew chiefs who are still trying to work, even though they cannot be in the garage. Here's what he had to say about the issue.
"JOHN: What they do lose is the ability to lay their hand on the race car. Physically look at a right front tire. The process is still correct, we just might turn the wick up on where you are allowed to be though as a result"
