Sox Top O's

Jermaine Dye had a season-high three hits, including a homer. Rob Mackowiak also had three hits for the White Sox, who've won three straight and eleven of 16.

Coming off a horrid start in which he gave up 12 runs against Minnesota, Jon Garland allowed two runs and eight hits over seven innings. He's 7-and-6 after winning his fourth straight start against Baltimore.

Jeremy Guthrie is 4-and-3 with the loss. The Orioles were trailing 8-to-1 before rallying to make it close.
