And finally the Rockford Thunder held a meet and greet at the Fifth Alarm Bar in Byron last night. And two lucky fans not only got a chance meet the players but are getting a chance to go out on a date with them. Catcher Dee Dee Justice shown here, and outfielder Noelle Adams were auctioned off the public. They raised more than 100 dollars. Here's what the girls had to say about the auction.
"Dee Dee: It's kind of a fun atmosphere, auction off some dates. It's exciting, I was a little nervous. But it was exciting. I'm hoping it will be a double date."
"Noelle: I was nervous right when I got up there. All day I hadn't really thought about it. It was interesting, I didn't know how it was going to go. The D.J. did a great job. It's going to be exciting.
