RiverHawks Fall to Bolts

Now to baseball...RiverHawks and Thunderbolts. It was day game at Road Ranger Stadium this afternoon which of course means...Little kids everywhere...Llong afternoon for RiverHawks catcher Cory Vanderhook.

In the second inning the runner goes. Vanderhook's throw is late. Then on the next pitch Mike Coles takes off again, swiping third base. He would score to tie the game.

Next inning, after another stolen base. Philip Hawke drives the hanger off the top of the wall in right, scoring former Northern Illinois standout Rob Marconi from second.

Rockford couldn't get anything going early, with two runners on...Jason James hits a chopper to first to start the 3-6-3 double play...RiverHawks lose today 9-4, the final
