Cubs Winners On The Road, 7-2

Soriano was playing at R-F-K Stadium for the first time since leaving the Nats for an eight-year, 136 (m) million-dollar contract with the Cubs. He delivered a run-scoring single and scored once while Chicago was building a 7-to-0 lead by the fourth inning.

Aramis Ramirez had three of the Cubs' eleven hits, including a two-run double in the first inning. Mark DeRosa added two hits and three ribbies as the Cubs won for the ninth time in ten games.

Ted Lilly is 7-and-4 after holding the Nationals to a run and three hits in seven innings. He blanked Washington until Brian Schneider and Nook Logan doubled in the fifth.

Jason Simontacchi was tagged for five runs and seven hits in three innings. He's 5-and-6.
