Cubs Bat Boy From Rockford

A speaking of drama...A local boy got to see Lou Pinella blow up right in front of his eyes....last Saturday Micahel Schweiger the one on the left wearing the helmet leaning was a bat boy for the Cubs game. Michael told me today that he had trouble trying to keep from laughing during Lou's tantrum..cuz nobody else was laughing in the dugout...Yeah there wasnt much to laugh about for the Cubs on Friday and Saturday.

Thank you Pat for taking the time to put that together. It was a once in a lifetime experience for Michael. Michael mentioned to me he didn't mean laughing in a bad way, as laughing at him, but happy that he went out there to defend the play because from the dugout it sure looked as if he was safe. Michael also said he wanted to cheer along with the crowd "go Lou" but refrained from that as no one else in the dugout was doing that. The video came out very well. Thanks again for the support from Michael's hometown station!! That makes it even more special for him! Truly a dream come true thanks to the Sunshine foundation and the Cubs.
