Bob Harlan will remain as principal executive of the team for an undetermined amount of time.
The announcement was made today by Peter Platten, speaking on behalf of the team's executive committee.
Jones says the decision was in the team's best interest. He says he also looks forward to taking a step back as well.
Harlan was supposed to step down May 31st from his position as chief executive officer, yet remain as chairman of the board.
Platten sayst he team is pleased Harlan is staying on.
