Paxon and Bulls Not Focusing on Lottery

Chicago has just a one-point-nine percent chance of landing the Number One pick, which explains why Paxson said he won't even watch the lottery tomorrow. The Bulls acquired the right to swap picks with New York in the Eddy Curry trade in October 2005, and the Knicks' pick is projected to be Number Nine.

Unlike last summer, when they signed Ben Wallace, the Bulls have no salary-cap room. So they would need to make a trade or hope someone on the roster improves enough in the offseason to fill that scoring hole down low.

Meanwhile, Paxson must decide whether to re-sign restricted free agent Andres Nocioni and give contract extensions to Luol Deng and Ben Gordon.
