Jeffrey Jordan is a 6-2 guard at Loyola Academy in Wilmette. He was a three-year starter and two-year All Catholic League player.
A news release from Loyola indicates that Jordan will be a preferred walk-on. The university says that means he won't have to go through open tryouts.
As a walk-on, though, Jordan won't sign a letter of intent, meaning his commitment is non-binding
Jordan said in a news release today that he picked Illinois over Valparaiso University.
