Gordon hit three three-pointers while contributing eleven points in the third quarter, when the Bulls outscored the Heat 30-to-19 to take a 14-point lead. Luol Deng provided 14 of his 26 points in the final period as the Bulls pushed the defending champs within two losses of a first-round exit.
The Bulls shot 55 percent from the field, with Deng and Gordon each going 11-for-19. Kirk Hinrich added 14 points and eight assists to the win.
Dwyane Wade scored 21 points and Shaquille O'Neal added 17, but the rest of the Heat starters accounted for just 12 points.
Game Three of the series is Friday at Miami.
