Cubs Shutout World Series Champs

Marquis is 2-and-1 for the Cubbies. He won 42 games in three seasons with the Cardinals. But he went 0-and-4 in five September starts last year and was left off the roster for the final two rounds of the postseason. He then took a three-year, 21 million free-agent deal with the Cubs.

He'll get another shot at the Cardinals next week in St. Louis, where he's slated to be presented his World Series ring.

Anthony Reyes fell to 0-and-3 for the World Series champs. He allowed four runs on seven hits in six innings.
