Only one other baseball player in Illinois history has accomplished what Boylan star Jake Somlinski has accomplished, today the Titan Senior was selected to play in the 2007 High School All-American game in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Smolinski is one of forty kids that will play in the East verus West game on June 4th. He has verbally committed to Clemson next year. This afternoon at a ceremony he was presented with the game jersey, and playing in this game, on a national stage will give Smolinski great exposure at a very young age.
