Sox Give Up One Hit and Lose to Indians

Sabathia wore number-42 in appreciation of Robinson, who broke baseball's color line 60 years ago today. The right-hander is 3-and-0 after holding the White Sox to a run and five hits while striking out ten in eight innings.

Sabathia is 14-and-3 in 22 starts lifetime against the White Sox.

The Indians won despite just one hit, Grady Sizemore's first-inning double. Sizemore moved to third on a passed ball and came around to score on Trot Nixon's grounder.

Sizemore later worked out a bases-loaded walk off loser Jose Contreras, who gave up two unearned runs over five innings. Contreras is 1-and-2.

Joe Borowski got the last three outs for his fifth save.
