Eyre was hospitalized following yesterday's 7-to-0 win over the Cincinnati, a game in which he did not pitch. He has an 11-point-25 E-R-A in four appearances this season.
Cubs manager Lou Piniella expects Eyre to rejoin the team tomorrow, saying the pitcher was dehydrated more than anything else.
