Both teams had to rally in the third place game, as Freeport led 1-0 early and then needed Danny Streenwood's goal in the 80th minute to tie the game at 2-2 to force overtime. A.J. Wise ended the marathon affair with an unassisted netter in the 111th minute, giving the Knights their best finish in school history.
