Piniella Enjoys Home Opener at Wrigley

He drove up North Lake Shore Drive to Wrigley Field for his home deput as Chicago Cubs manager. He then watched his team lose to the Houston Astros.

Piniella is calling the day a fun one, despite the loss.

The Cubs are trying to find their way back to the World Series, something they last won in 1908.

The team gave their fans hope during the offseason with major free-agent signings. But there's also uncertainty surrounding the club, which is on the block in the wake of real estate magnate Sam Zell's purchase of Tribune Company.

Piniella says he realizes there's urgency for a championship. He adds he is going to do everything he can to get it done.
