Sox Lose Again; Fall to 2-6 in Cactus League Play

Vazquez gave up four runs and six hits in three innings today, and the Rockies beat Chicago 6-to-3 behind a long homer from Brad Hawpe.

Before the game, Vazquez and the White Sox agreed to a 34-point-five million dollar, three-year contract extension through 20-10.

Garrett Atkins and Matt Holliday each hit an R-B-I double off Vazquez in the first inning.

Kaz Matsui added a two-run triple against Vazquez. Hawpe's two-run homer came off Adam Russell.

Colorado pitcher Rodrigo Lopez allowed three runs and three hits in three innings, walking two and striking out two.
