The only Rockford area resident to ever play a full season in the WNBA, Stephanie Raymond was cut today by the Chicago Sky. The Lutheran grad played in 20 games for Chicago last season, averaging over 3 points and 1 assist per game. Raymond was drafted by the Sky as the 20th selection in the 2007 WNBA Draft. Just this past offseason, she was a student coach for the NIU women's basketball team.
