With a win last night in Game 4, the IceHogs evened up their best of seven series with the Wolves at 2 games a piece. The win was also the second straight for the Hogs, who started the series in a 2-0 hole. Head Coach Mike Haviland challenged his top guys to step up and they responded. Hogs all-star Martin St. Pierre broke a scoreless tie in the first with a putback goal, and right winger Troy Brouwer lit the lamp twice in the 2nd to help lead the Hogs to victory.
"BROUWER: Havi was getting a little on us about our production and we just needed to work a little bit harder. We took it to heart. We stepped it up and had a great game as a line tonight."
"HAVILAND: I don't care if it's a cliche. You're best guys have to be your best guys. They've been good since we've gotten home here. Now we got to do it on the road. We tied the series but we didn't win anything."
